TWAS Theatre’s adaptation of the fictional legend Robin Hood. We see Robin and his trusty merry men and woman Maid Marion, working hard at making their beloved Nottingham a fair and just place to live. Prince John is holding an archery competition in hopes to catch Robin Hood and sentence him for his ‘crimes.’ To entice competitors the winner would receive a golden arrow. Once Robin hears about the competition and it’s prize his friends convince him to disguise himself as an old lady to win the competition and sell on the golden arrow for coins to give to the poor.
Robin: Now you’re sure this is the only way?
Kate: Well if you will insist on being a show off and going to this competition
Robin: I’m not doing it for me. I’m doing it to win the arrow and help the poor!
Friar Tuck: And?
Robin: Ok I do want to show off a little bit.
Kate: I knew it.
Isabella: Well you look lovely.
LJ: I think he’d look better in blue.
Much: Hardly, this is much more his colour.
Will: Oooooh! Do you have a matching head dress?
Marion: Or gloves! They would really tie the whole outfit together.
Friar Tuck: When you’re finished playing dress up it’s time to get moving.
Will: Eyes on the Sheriff everyone. He’ll be the one to move on Robin. I hope this works.
