What Do We Do? As an educational theatre company TWAS Theatre run weekly dance and drama sessions for children aged from 5 to 11 years and our Performing Arts Programme aimed at older students from 12 to 18 years old. We offer after school classes to primary schools and currently run two open classes in Manningtree, Essex. The dance and drama classes are 55 minutes each with a 10 minute snack break in between. We offer our TTYC members the choice of taking part in just one or both of the classes.
Why Join TTYC? Being a professional producing company our aim is to offer our students the opportunity to become part of our TWAS Theatre Young Company (TTYC.) Our academic year consists of a script showing term, a skills term and a summer production term. If you're looking to further your performance skills or just looking to make friends and have fun, the TTYC is the place for you!
Fees & Signing Up! The fees for our 5 to 11 year classes are £4 per hour or £8 for both hours - payable half termly. The fees for the Performing Arts Programme for ages 12 to 18 is £8. If you're interested in signing up to our open classes in Manningtree or are a parent looking to sign your child to our after school class, please follow the link below.
